Ham Conservation Area
The central part of the village of Ham is a Conservation Area. In 2004 consultant Jim Denning was commissioned to research and write a definitive statement which was published by Kennet District Council.
It remains a fascinating document to this day as he examined historical records, highlighted key architectural features and photographed many of the oldest houses in the village.
“The secluded village is a delightful environment of historic and traditional buildings among many mature trees.”
